Cartiere di Guarcino celebrates a significant milestone at the Milano Design Week 2025, presenting its recent C2C Certified® Full Scope Bronze certification as part of the exhibition The Scale of Commitment, in collaboration with Materially. The exhibition, an immersive and interactive digital installation, is dedicated to the search for innovative and sustainable solutions in design.
In February 2025, after a challenging 18-month journey, the Neodecortech Group company obtained the prestigious certification for several product categories – white, black, balance and kraft decorative papers as well as natural papers. This achievement marks a milestone for the company, which becomes the first paper mill in the decor sector to receive certification according to the 4.0 standards, among the most rigorous at global level.
Cradle to Cradle® certification is based on a holistic approach that considers not only the product’s efficiency, but also its environmental and social impact. Assessment criteria include material health, water and soil management, air and climate protection, and social equity. This approach fits perfectly in the perspective of a circular economy, which aims to eliminate the very concept of waste.
Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) is a design philosophy that transforms traditional manufacturing processes by creating materials that regenerate themselves, similar to natural elements. With this certification, the company reinforces its commitment to create safe, sustainable and circular products, with particular attention to the rational use of water and energy resources, without ever forgetting the human value that lies at the basis of each process.
Cartiere di Guarcino is now ready to launch a premium line of products, positioning itself at the forefront of design and the furniture industry, combining environmental sustainability, quality materials and social responsibility.
